AusSRC hosts key stakeholders event

Off the back of the SKA Construction Commencement Ceremony in early December, the AusSRC hosted a Key Stakeholders Event. Held in the fancy new interactive space at the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre, the event was attended by around 30 guests from local, interstate, and overseas. The 3-year AusSRC DSP had successfully concluded and the event was a chance for everyone to celebrate the achievements of the past 3 years, while looking forward to the next 10 years of the long-term AusSRC program.

Through the DSP, a strong foundation for an SKA Regional Centre (SRC) has been built, which could serve as a framework for other countries establishing their own SRCs. The DSP Final Report, available on the AusSRC website, summarises the knowledge and technical experience accumulated by the team, which will be vital to build upon in order to develop and grow the global SRC Network (SRCNet).
