Working with the AusSRC

The AusSRC is Australia’s enabler of SKA and precursor science, powering software development and data-driven breakthroughs in radio astronomy. AusSRC brings together researchers, industry, and communities to shape solutions to challenges in radio astronomy and beyond.

We request that any support provided to your project by AusSRC, whether via software development or science support, generally acknowledges AusSRC in publications, presentations, or other writings.

We also ask that you reach out to AusSRC for involvement in any outreach or press release activities you undertake, for which we can offer resources to help promote your work. You can contact the AusSRC via the Contact Us page.

Acknowledgement Statement

If you have benefited from AusSRC support, we request that you use the following Acknowledgement Statement in any acknowledgement of that support in publications and other publicly available documentation.

This work was facilitated/supported/funded [select one depending on context] by the Australian SKA Regional Centre (AusSRC), Australia’s portion of the international SKA Regional Centre Network (SRCNet), funded by the Australian Government through the Department of Industry, Science, and Resources (DISR; grant SKARC000001). AusSRC is an equal collaboration between CSIRO – Australia’s national science agency, Curtin University, the Pawsey Supercomputing Research Centre, and the University of Western Australia.

AusSRC personnel affiliation formats

To improve recognition of the Centre and its outputs, AusSRC personnel co-affiliate with both their employing institution and AusSRC on peer-reviewed papers and other scholarly publications.

Where AusSRC personnel have made contributions to your publication or publicly distributed content such that they will included as contributors or co-authors, we also request the following institutional formats to be used.

Short form affiliations can be use in less formal situations or when there are character limits (e.g. on conference name badges).
